MODEL fans are gearing up for the region’s largest show – at the Tank Museum this weekend.

The South West Model Show is back at Bovington venue on Saturday and Sunday, September 23 and 24, with organisers promising ‘tonnes of fun for the whole family’.

Sponsored by model giant Airfix, the event will run alongside the museum’s collection of 300 military vehicles, featuring the likes Scalextric racing, hands-on tank building with Model for Heroes, and the chance to meet Doctor Who villains with the Dalek Charity Squad.
