A MAN was taken to hospital at the weekend after his face was cut in a reported assault in Poole.
Dorset Police said a man sustained lacerations to his face following an assault in the area of Old Orchard and Lagland Street at around 2am on Sunday, January 26.
The man’s injuries are not believed to be serious.
Officers said two other people suffered facial injuries following the assault, but they did not require hospital treatment.

A 22-year-old man from Poole has been arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
He has been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
“We are carrying out a number of enquiries into this incident and I am keen to hear from anyone with information that might assist our enquiries,” said PC Niki Edwards.
“I understand there were a number of other people in the area at the time of the alleged assault and I would urge anyone who saw what happened to please contact us.
“Finally, I would like to hear from anyone who has captured any relevant footage, either on dashcam or home CCTV.”
