Cash stolen in Dorchester burglary as “vulnerable individuals” watch on

POLICE are trying to identify two men after cash was stolen from a home in Dorchester.

Two men reportedly gained entry to a home in Heathcote Close at around 10.50pm on May 24 while the occupants were home and made off with cash and other items.

Dorchester Police’s PC Courtney Quinlan said the victims were unable to prevent the men from entering and leaving the property on more than one occasion as they carried out the burglary.

“We are exploring every available line of enquiry to identify those responsible, and I am releasing an image of the suspects,” they said.

“I appreciate their faces are covered, but they do have some distinctive items of clothing and this may help jog someone’s memory if they have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or captured any further CCTV or doorbell camera footage of relevance.”
