A MAN removed from a Poole takeaway proceeded to smash the door – causing several hundreds of pounds-worth of damage.

Police have issued a CCTV image of a person they would like to trace in connection with the incident, in The Orchard, at around 1.40am on Sunday, November 24.

A Dorset Police spokesperson said “a man who appeared to be intoxicated was reportedly removed from Munchies in Old Orchard by staff”.

“He was then seen to smash the glass window of the door, causing several hundred pounds worth of damage,” they added.

PC Kristian Budden, of Poole police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this matter and have obtained a CCTV image of a man we would like to identify.

“I would urge anyone who recognises him to please make contact with us.”
