CCTV appeal after handbag stolen from Christchurch hotel office

POLICE have issued a CCTV image of a person they would like to trace in connection with the theft of a handbag in Christchurch.

The bag, which contained a pair of trainers, headphones and cash, was taken from the staff office at The King’s Arms Hotel, in Castle Street, at around 4.10pm on Sunday, May 5.

Police Community Support Investigator Mike Cannings, of Bournemouth police, said: “An investigation is underway to try and recover the victim’s property.

“As part of my enquiries, I have obtained CCTV images of a woman I would like to identify and I would ask anyone with information regarding her identity to please come forward.”
