CCTV appeal after items stolen from Christchurch garden centre

POLICE are keen to trace these four people after a theft and attempted assault at a garden centre in Christchurch.

The incident unfolded at around 2.30pm on Tuesday, February 25, when four men attempted to leave Stewarts Garden Centre in Lyndhurst Road without paying for items.

It was further reported the men attempted to assault the staff members who tried to stop them, before leaving with the goods, police said.

PC Rio Baker, of Dorset Police, said: “We are investigating this incident and are releasing CCTV images of four men we are looking to identify as part of our enquiries.

“I would urge anyone who recognises them to please contact us.”
