The First Fluid Art Retreat Comes to Dorset

A weekend packed full of inspirational talks and creative workshops

We are excited to announce our upcoming UK Fluid Art Event at the end of October. This will be a weekend packed full inspirational talks and creative workshops in the most stunning coastal location in Dorset.

The retreat is aimed at the growing number of Acrylic Pouring/Fluid artists based in the UK. This is such an exciting art technique that is accessible to all abilities and which utilises the wonderful paint effects you can achieve with fluid paint to produce unique and contemporary works of art. At Fluid Art Events we aim to create the ideal environment for people to meet together and experience the world of fluid art from established UK fluid artists.

Our event aims to inspire you and to network with other like minded creatives. Most importantly, it will help you grow as an artist. Over the two days, we will be delving into the wonderfully complex world of colour theory and how to mix custom colours. Our creative workshops will give you hands on experience to develop your skills in ‘pouring with intention’ and create paintings. There will be an extensive marketing talk with practical advice to help you reach new audiences with your art.

The venue, Sandyholme, is situated on the Jurassic coast in Dorset and is a five-minute walk from the beach. All meals and refreshments are included and you have the choice of booking with shared accommodation or without accommodation.
The UK Fluid Art Events is run by artist’s Julie Vatcher and Chris Schneider. Both are fluid artists based in the UK. They have a wealth of knowledge about marketing, from social media to selling their work at galleries, art shows and online. All their experience is shared with you at the UK Fluid Art Events.
