DOGS and their owners are being urged to get muddy for a good cause.
Registration for the 2024 Muddy Dog Dash, run by Lewis-Manning Hospice Care, has opened.
The event, sponsored by Barrett Homes, is set to take place on Sunday, March 17, at Upton Country Park, Poole.
Runners, walkers, families and friends, with or without a dog can choose between a 2.5km and 5km muddy obstacle course.
Last year, more than 200 people took part, raising more than £12,000 for the hospice charity.
Spectators are welcome and can enjoy the ‘pawsome’ event village while they wait for their muddy friends to return.
Hannah Garrett, event fundraiser at the charity, said: “You can choose to run, jog or walk, that’s up to you. Whatever your ability it will be a fantastically muddy experience.
“There will be various fun obstacles including ramps, tyre runs, wiggle poles and much much more.
“There will be goodie bags sponsored by Nurturing by Nature, rosettes and certificates.
