Arrest after alleged assault of woman at Poole bus station

A MAN was arrested after the alleged assault of a woman at Poole bus station.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, at around 12.10pm on Thursday, December 28.

A Dorset Police spokesperson said it was reported a man was “behaving in an anti-social manner and assaulted a woman”.

Officers arrested a 41-year-old from Poole on suspicion of assault. The woman did not sustain any serious injuries.

PC Alice Beavon, of Poole police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and has information about what happened to please come forward.

“Also, I am keen to hear from anyone who may have relevant footage of the incident recorded on a dashcam or a mobile phone.”
