ELF-Y runners are being urged to put their best festive feet forward for a good cause.
The 2022 Elf Dash will take place at Branksome Dene Chine on Saturday (December 3), lead by Crackers the Elf and featuring a range of attractions for families.
People can run, skip, hop or jump the 2km run, as well as enjoying food and refreshments courtesy of the Rapid Relief Team and a visit from Santa during the day.
This year, children are fundraising for children, with the dash supporting projects such as the Child Development Centre (CDC) playground appeal, which aims to create a valuable space for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities and long-stay inpatients.
The CDC offers a multi professional approach to the assessment and treatment of pre-school children with a variety of developmental needs within Poole, Bournemouth and beyond.
The team offer a family focused service that provides a safe and child friendly environment and developmental play specialists work with families to plan and deliver care which will enable their children to fulfil their potential.
Coles Miller are gold sponsors of Elf Dash and Nick Balchin, marketing director, said the solicitors was delighted to be involved.
“The Elf Dash is a fantastic fun event to get everyone into the Christmas spirit while enjoying the beautiful beach at Branksome,” he said.
“We’re very grateful for this opportunity to help the NHS, and to say ‘thank you’ in a tangible way that benefits local people.
“We all owe a huge debt of gratitude to the NHS, especially after what’s happened over the last two years. The NHS continues to face huge pressures, so we all need to help them – they’re always there for us.”
