High-value electric bikes stolen from Poole garage

TWO ‘high-value’ electric bikes were stolen from a garage in Poole.

Dorset Police is probing the thefts, from a property in Western Road, at between 2.30am and 3am on Wednesday, August 16.

Two men were seen to arrive on push-bikes at a garage at a block of flats in Western Road, a police spokesperson said.

“They then gained entry to the garage and were seen riding away on two high value electric bikes. Both bikes are green coloured Moustache-X road bikes.”

Police Community Support Investigator Adam Cleaver, of Dorset Police, said: “I am continuing to investigate this incident and am now issuing CCTV images of the two men I would like to identify.

“While I appreciate that the image quality is not the best, I am hoping these may jog someone’s memory and they may be recognised from their build and clothing.

“I am also keen to speak to anybody who may have seen two bikes matching the description being offered for sale in unusual circumstances.”
