A MAN has sadly died following a car crash in Holton Heath near Wareham.
A silver Ford Fiesta Flight reportedly crashed between the Bakers Arms Roundabout and the entrance to the Romany Business Park on Wareham Road at around 5.35am yesterday (June 1).
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Dorset Police said his family has been informed, and they are being supported by specially trained officers.
The force added that there were no passengers in the car. The road was closed to allow an examination of the scene to take place.
Officers are now appealing for anyone with information or footage of the crash to get in touch.

Sergeant Dave Cotterill, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “Our thoughts go out to the family and loved ones of the man who very sadly died in this collision.
“We are continuing to carry out a detailed investigation to establish the full circumstances of what happened.
“I would urge any witnesses, or anyone who may have captured relevant dashcam footage or doorbell CCTV in the local area, to please make contact with us.
“Finally, I would like to thank members of the public for their patience and understanding during the road closures.”
