A MAN will appear in court after the alleged sexual assault of a woman in Christchurch.
A 30-year-old man, from the town, has been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on January 5, for an offence of sexual assault.
It comes after an alleged incident at around 3.30am on Saturday, May 27, when a woman in her 20s was walking in the area of Barrack Road and Bargates when she came across a man sitting on the bench.
She reportedly spoke to the man and was subsequently sexually assaulted.
