A PERSON was trapped under a shed after a crash in Poole.

Firefighters from the town and from Westbourne were sent to the incident, in Sunnyside Road, at just before 2.30pm on Saturday afternoon (March 9).

A Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said they responded to reports of a car crashing into a garden fence.

“On arrival, the trapped person had been released from the debris by ambulance personnel and members of the public, and was in the care of the ambulance crew,” they said.

“A second casualty remained in the car until the arrival of a further ambulance crew who made an assessment before allowing the casualty to self extricate.

“Firefighters ensured that the scene was safe before handing the incident over to the police.”
