A WOMAN had to be rescued from her bathroom after the door handle came off – leaving her locked in.
Firefighters from Ferndown were sent to an address in Severn Road at around 11.55am on Monday (November 21). A spokesperson for the Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “A crew from Ferndown were mobilised to assist with a female who had become locked in her bathroom after the door handle had come off the door.
“The attending crew arrived quickly on the scene and managed to gain entry using forcible entry tools.”
