A YACHT caught fire in Wareham.
The blaze was reported by members of the public ay around 3.50pm on Monday (April 1).
Crews from Wareham and Poole were sent to the scene.
A Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We received multiple calls reporting a yacht that had caught alight and callers could see a smoke plume building.
“Crews from Wareham and Poole rapidly made there way to the incident. When crews arrived, they made quick work of setting up and starting to extinguish the fire with two breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and one main line from our Unimog.
“Crews managed to extinguish the fire, with help from the unimog, completely before leaving the scene.”
