Swanage Town and Herston are delighted to announce the appointment of Jamie Smith as first team manager and Manuel Laurijssen as senior teams head coach for the 2023-24 season.

Jamie Smith is a B licence and FA South Award Coach with 10 years experience coaching youth in Dorset, from grassroots to professional academies. He is also manager of his own football centre, Dorset Regional Talent Centre.

Manuel Laurijssen (Manu) is a B licence coach with 25 years experience, coaching from grassroots to elite level in Spain, Germany, Japan, New Zealand and the UK.

The football club would like to welcome Jamie & Manu aboard and their new roles will start at the end of this season. Roy Lock will remain as first team caretaker manager for the last two games.
