POLICE are investigating after a woman was racially abused as she waited to catch the chained ferry in Studland.
The incident unfolded at around 6.20pm on Tuesday, April 8, as the woman waited for the ferry with her son.
PC Aimee Holland, of Dorset Police, said: “We take all reports of hate crime very seriously and have been exploring all lines of enquiry in relation to this incident.
“I would ask anyone who saw what happened – and has not already spoken to police – to please come forward.
“I understand a number of members of the public supported the victim after the incident and I would like to thank them for their assistance.”
