TWO people have been arrested in connection with an alleged machinery theft in Purbeck.
A 35-year-old man from Bournemouth and a 37-year-old man from the Wick area of Scotland have been arrested by Dorset Police in connection with an incident at a site off Morden Road, Wareham.
It is alleged machinery was taken some time between noon on Saturday, January 14 and the morning of Monday, January 16.
The men were arrested on suspicion of theft and handling stolen goods.
Both have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
