A 16-YEAR-OLD boy has been arrested after a man was injured during an an altercation.
Detectives investigating a reported assault, in Old Orchard, Poole, said the arrest was made in connection with the incident, which happened at around 2.15am on Saturday, March 25.
Officers attending the scene said they found an injured man at the scene, who was treated by paramedics for a ‘serious head injury’.
“He was taken to hospital for treatment but has since been discharged,” they said.
Following further enquiries by detectives from Bournemouth CID and a CCTV appeal, a 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent.
He has been released under investigation as further enquiries are carried out.
