Casualty freed from vehicle after crash at Watercombe

A PERSON was rescued from a vehicle after a crash in Watercombe this morning (September 28).

The incident, which involved two vehicles, unfolded at around 7.25am with fire crews from Dorchester and Weymouth sent to the scene, along with other emergency services.

“Crews extracted a casualty from one of the vehicles using hydraulic rescue equipment, and left casualties in the care of the ambulance service,” a Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said.
