POLICE are keen to trace this person in connection with a theft from a car in Poole.
The incident occurred in Herbert Avenue at around 9.55pm on Saturday, September 2.
Dorset Police said it was reported a man leant in through an open car window and stole the victim’s handbag and all its belongings.
“The offender then went on to spend the victim’s bank cards in various locations,” they said. “The handbag also contained an iPhone, camera, cash, a pair of glasses and a bus pass.”
Police Crime Support Investigator Adam Cleaver, of Poole police, said: “This incident has caused a lot of distress for the victim due to the sentimental value of some of the items taken.
“After making enquiries, I have now obtained CCTV images of a man I would like to identify.
“I would ask anyone who recognises him to please contact Dorset Police.”
