ATTENDING a gathering at an upmarket London address ended in a fine for a 23-year-old Christchurch woman.
Maggy Elizabeth Millar, of Sarah Sands Close, Christchurch, admitted attending a ‘gathering of two or more people’ on February 28, 2021, at an address in Brooks Mews, London, W1.
At the time, the Westminster area of London was in Tier 4 Covid lockdown restrictions, prohibiting indoor gatherings of two or more people.
Millar pleaded guilty to the breach when she appeared before magistrates in Poole on May 25 this year.
The 23-year-old was fined £120 and ordered to pay £110 court costs.
