THE Easter holidays are well underway and families across Dorset and beyond are looking for things to do.
Here are a host of events and activities taking place across the county in the coming days and weeks – with something for all budgets.
Roman artefacts in Gillingham Library – April 3-21, during library opening hours
Dorchester Museum has lent Gillingham Library some Roman artifacts that will be available to see during library opening hours.
Wild Wednesdays at Durlston Country Park – Wednesday, April 5, 11am to 3pm
Drop-in craft activities for kids and families. Free but donations welcome.
Easter holiday stories and craft at Bridport Library – Wednesday, April 5 and 12, 2pm to 4pm
Stories and craft. No booking required.
Easter baskets at Blandford Library – Thursday, April 6, 2pm to 4pm
Make an Easter basket to hold your eggs. And there may be an Easter egg in it to start your collection. Suitable for ages 4 to 11. No booking required.
Tremendously tasty bird-feeders with Dorset Wildlife Trust at Corfe Mullen Library – Wednesday, April 5, 3pm to 4pm
Make your own bird-feeder and learn about Dorset wildlife. Aimed at ages 5 to 12 years. Booking essential, please contact the library.
Ranger den and nature table at Avon Heath Country Park – Tuesday, April 11, 11am to 1pm

Sunflower seed planting at Lyme Regis Library – Saturday, April 15, 11am to 12.30pm
Sunflower seed planting at the library. Plant a sunflower to take home. Free, drop-in event. Supported by Turn Lyme Green.
