A MAN in his 80s has died after falling over on a bus in Poole.
Police are appealing for information after the incident, on a number 17, at around 2.10pm on Friday (February 24).
The man sustained injuries after reportedly falling while the bus was in Constitution Hill Road. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
The incident was not reported to police until the following morning, after the man’s condition deteriorated. Very sadly, he was pronounced dead at hospital later that day.
PC Tracey Downer, of the traffic unit, said: “We are conducting enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this incident and our thoughts are with the loved ones of the man who sadly died.
“I would appeal to any passengers who were on the bus at the time and witnessed what happened to please make contact with us.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who was driving in the area and may have captured relevant footage on dashcam.”
