A POOLE man has been jailed for a series of rapes.
Kieron Gibson, of Sea View Road, was sentenced at Bournemouth Crown Court today (November 17) to seven and a half years in prison after previously admitting seven charges of rape and an offence of attempted rape.
The 25-year-old was also placed on the sex offenders’ register for an indefinite period.
In March 2021, Gibson’s victim attended Poole police station to report a series of non-recent rapes by the defendant over a five-year period.
The victim reported that she had been sexually assaulted by the defendant on numerous occasions.
She was also able to supply messages from Gibson that appeared to relate to the sexual assaults.
Following an investigation by detectives from Bournemouth CID, Gibson was subsequently charged and appeared at court.
