The guests don’t hear any of the questions in advance, and will be forced to think on their feet in front of an engaged Swanage crowd.

Forsyth’s stint follows a string of big name presenters.

Chris Mason hosted the programme between 2019 and 2022, before assuming his post as political editor of BBC News, while veteran broadcaster Jonathan Dimbleby helmed the programme for the previous 32 years.

Any Questions will be repeated on Saturday at 1.10pm and available on BBC Sounds.
