A TEENAGER was rescued from a tree over a “deep pond” on Sunday afternoon (April 21).
Firefighters from Wareham, Poole and Dorchester were sent to the scene, in Moreton, at 2.45pm after reports of a youngster stuck in a tree.
“A crew from Wareham, a crew from Dorchester and a technical rescue team from Poole were called to a location off Warmwell Road, Moreton, to help a teenage boy stuck on a fallen tree over a deep pond,” a Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said.
“Firefighters were able to enter the water and brought him to safety.”
