Teenager fighting for his life following Dorchester crash

A TEENAGER suffered life-threatening injuries following a two-car crash in Dorchester.

A grey Hyundai i10 and a grey Mercedes Benz crashed just after 8pm on Friday (July 18) on the A35 in Dorchester at the junction with the A352.

A teenage occupant of the Hyundai is currently in hospital, where he is being treated for life-threatening injuries.

The Hyundai driver and two occupants of the Mercedes were also taken to hospital for serious injuries.

Dorset Police is now appealing for any witnesses to get in touch to help their investigation.

Sergeant David Cotterill, of the roads policing team, said: “We are continuing to investigate the full circumstances of this incident, and I would urge any witnesses, or anyone with relevant dashcam or other footage, to please get in touch if you have not already contacted police.

“We would also like to thank members of the public for their patience and understanding while road closures were put in place so we could respond to the incident and carry out enquiries.”
