TWO people have been arrested after a pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit by a car on a driveway in Poole.
The incident, in Fitzworth Avenue, occurred at around 10.25am on Wednesday (February 21).
Police were called to the scene with the ambulance service and the injured pedestrian was taken to hospital.
Two men – in their 50s and 60s and from Poole – have been arrested on suspicion of driving offences.
PC Joshua Alner, of the traffic unit, said: “An investigation is underway to establish the full circumstances and I would ask members of the public who saw what happened and have not yet spoken to police to please come forward.
“I am also appealing to anyone in the community who may have captured anything of relevance on home CCTV or dashcam footage to please come forward.”
