Van damaged in Poole arson attack

A VAN was set on fire in a suspected arson attack.

The incident happened at around 9.14pm on Friday, February 24 in Waterloo Road, Poole.

Dorset Police said the fire was extinguished and following liaison with the fire service it is believed to have been started deliberately.

PC Louis Allen, of Poole police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this incident and I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area around the relevant time.

“I would also ask residents with home CCTV systems or doorbell cameras, as well as motorists with dashcam, to please check their footage for the evening of Friday, February 24, for anything that might assist our investigation.”
