Wanted Poole man found by police after appeal

A POOLE man wanted by police after failing to appear at court has been arrested.

Ryan Velkoop, aged 29, was wanted for failing to attend at court in connection with an allegation of vehicle interference.

“Following enquiries by officers, he has now been located and arrested,” said a Dorset Police spokesperson.

“We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal.”

POLICE have appealed for help to track down a man accused of ‘vehicle interference’ who did not attend court – and urged the public not to approach him.

Ryan Velkoop, of Poole, is described as being around five feet four inches tall and of slim build with brown hair.

PC Dan Goodman, of Poole police, appealed for the public’s help in tracking down the 29-year-old.

“We have been carrying out various enquiries to locate Ryan Velkoop and these efforts are ongoing,” he said.

“I am also appealing to the public for anyone with information regarding Velkoop’s whereabouts to please contact us.

“I would ask anyone who sees Velkoop not to approach him, but to instead dial 999 immediately.”
