YVONNE Glover is steaming on – at the age of 106.
And the intrepid centenarian showed no signs of slowing down when she took up the offer of a free trip on the Swanage Railway.
Earlier this month, Yvonne attended a lunch organised by community group Linking Lives and won a raffle ticket to take a trip on the heritage railway.
And this week, she took to the line for her trip, joined by Julian Owen and Sarah Bamber from Linking Lives, who helped organise the trip, as well as fellow group attendees, Brian and Phil.
After her trip, Yvonne said she ‘really enjoyed’ the ‘beautiful views’.
