Attempted break-in causes damage at Poole property

THE back door, gate and a security lights at a Poole property were damaged during an attempted burglary.

Police are appealing for information after an incident in Holnest Road some time between 3.30pm and 7pm on Sunday, March 10.

Despite the damage, entry was not gained to the property and nothing was stolen.

PC Jack Taylor, of Poole police, said: “I am carrying out enquiries into this incident and am keen to hear from anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area between around 3pm and 7pm on Sunday, March 10.

“Also, I am appealing to anyone who may have captured anything of relevance during that timeframe on either home CCTV or dashcam footage.

“Furthermore, I am keen to hear from anyone walking in the Hatch Pond Nature Reserve at the time of the incident who noticed any suspicious activity to please contact us.”
