Man pulled down his trousers at beach bench spot, say police

A MAN pulled down his trousers after approaching another man on a bench in Poole.

The incident happened at around 9.45pm on Sunday, March 10, near the clifftop at Branksome beach.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was sitting on a bench when it is alleged a man approached and sat next to him making inappropriate comments, before pulling down his trousers. The victim was able to walk away from the scene.

The offender is described as white, 5feet 10inches tall, between 30 and 40 years old and of large build with short hair and a short beard. He was wearing a thick wax coat and jeans.

PC Samuel Hunt, of Poole police, said: “I am carrying out enquiries to identify the man involved in this incident.

“I understand there were a number of people present in the car park nearby and I would ask anyone who saw what happened, or has information to help my investigation, to please get in touch.”
