TWO motocross bikes have been stolen from an address in Poole.
The motorbikes were stolen from an address in King John Avenue at around 1.45am on Tuesday, October 3, after police said two people broke into a shed.
Dorset Police carried out a search of the area and found offenders gained entry by breaking doors and locks.
The owner of the shed was notified and reported two motocross bikes were missing.
Fortunately, officers managed to recover one of the bikes, but one of them – a Kawasaki 65cc KX250 – is still missing.
PC George Miller, of Dorset Police, said: “We have been carrying out enquiries into this incident and I would urge anyone with information relating to who might be responsible to please contact us.
“It is believed the offenders may have driven the stolen bike around roads in the surrounding area following the incident and I would urge anyone who witnessed this or captured anything relevant on dashcam footage to please get in touch.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who has come across a bike matching the description in the image being offered for sale locally or online in unusual circumstances.”
