A 24-YEAR-OLD Poole woman has been fined for having a ‘gathering’ while Coronavirus restrictions were in place.
April-Jean Howard, of Parkstone Road, Poole, was charged with hosting a gathering on February 13, 2021 – while the town was in Tier 4 restrictions, which banned group events.
The gathering took place at a private dwelling in Sixpenny Close, Poole.
On Monday (October 2), magistrates in Poole found her guilty of the offence.
Howard was fined £400 and ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £40.
