TALENTED owner and floral designer of Swanage based company Tied, Selina Kerley, has been honoured with a nomination as one of the 100 Faces of Floristry as part of the inaugural National Florist Day celebrations which took place on June 8th.
This recognition celebrates Selina’s significant contributions to the floristry industry and her impact on the Swanage community.
National Florist Day, hosted by Purple Spotted Media, celebrates the artistry and dedication of florists across the UK and Ireland.
The 100 Faces of Floristry nomination highlights exceptional industry professionals, showcasing their stories and contributions to the flower industry.
Tied, which opened its doors on February 13th this year, is the first florist to grace Swanage in over seven years. Since its inception, Tied has quickly become a beloved local business, renowned for its seasonal floral designs and a unique selection of gifts.
Selina Kerley brings a wealth of experience to her shop, having previously worked with McQueens Flowers in London.
Her impressive portfolio includes luxury floral designs for prestigious events like Wimbledon and the Evening Standard Theatre Awards.
Winning the “Open Your Shop” start-up competition by AnkorStart and SaveTheHighStreet.org, Selina’s vision for Tied became a reality, offering bespoke fresh-cut stems, hand-tied bouquets, and floral arrangements for weddings and special events.
“I am incredibly honoured to be nominated as one of the 100 Faces of Floristry,” said Selina.
