Man suffers dislocated shoulder amid brawl at Temple bar in Poole

A BRAWL broke out in a Poole bar – leading to a man who intervened being badly injured in an assault, police said.

The incident happened at Temple, in Bournemouth Road, at around midnight on Saturday, April 7.

“It is reported that the victim – a man aged in his 20s from Wareham – attempted to intervene in an altercation between two groups and was subsequently assaulted,” a Dorset Police spokesperson said.

“He has sustained a dislocated shoulder and bruising to his face.”

The offender is described as being in his 20s, around 6ft tall and of skinny build, with short brown hair. He was wearing a red jumper and was in the bar with another man and woman.

PC Joseph McKee, of Poole police, said: “This incident has had a significant impact on the victim and we are doing all we can to identify the offender.

“I am appealing to anyone who was in the bar and saw what happened to please come forward.
