HIGH-value bikes were stolen from a shed in Wareham.

Dorset Police have issued pictures of the the bikes – an olive grey Trek Rail 5 electric bicycle and a similar coloured Trek Remedy 8 mountain pedal cycle – taken from a property in Mill Lane some time overnight from Wednesday, March 28, and the following day.

PC Matt Wellaway, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out an investigation to identify who is responsible for this burglary and reunite the owners with their stolen property.

“As part of our enquiries, I am issuing images of the stolen bikes and would urge anyone who comes across these or who has seen matching bicycles being offered for sale locally or online in suspicious circumstances to please contact us.”
